Last year, the Euphoria star was photographed arriving to the films set , sparking speculation that she had a part in the highly anticipated follow-up starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. The sequels storyline reunites now-established journalist Andy Sachs (Hathaway) with her former Runway colleagues, Miranda Priestly (Streep) and Nigel (Tucci), as they work to save the fashion magazine amid a major scandal and declining print media. To secure funding to keep the brand afloat, they turn to former Runway assistant Emily (Blunt), now serving as head of U.S. operations at Dior. According to Entertainment Weekly , the rumors about Sweeneys appearance were, indeed, true, as the actor did film a three-minute scene in which she appears as herself, one of the celebrity clients styled by Emily. Ultimately, though, a source told the outlet that the scene didnt work structurally, so a creative decision was made to nix it altogether.
