To mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Embassies of the Netherlands, Belgium invite you to a screening of the award-winning documentary film Porcelain War(2024). The screening will take place at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 4 March 2026.

About Porcelain War This 1.5-hour documentary film follows Ukrainian artists Slava, Anya and Andrey, who – under the roar of fighting jets – choose to stay behind, defiantly finding beauty amid destruction. Armed with art, cameras and, for the first time in their lives, guns, they show that while it is easy to frighten people, it is much harder to destroy for their passion for life. Through this powerful film, witness how art transforms into a weapon of hope amid war.
